Chamber music is often described as bringing together the best of both worlds. It allows each individual player to have an artistic voice while also having the joy of collaborative music-making. This intimate setting creates a musical experience far greater than the simple sum of the parts. Since 1987, the CCO has proudly presented a concert series devoted entirely to chamber music and we hope you’ll join us for these programs that celebrate music that moves us.
A delightful mix of musical styles are included in our opening chamber music concert of the season from the less well-known 20th Century American, Leo Sowerby, to a Brahms Trio that is considered a staple of the repertoire.
All ticket-holders are invited to stay for the post-concert reception to get to know the performers, CCO board members, and your fellow audience members.
