J.S. BACH: Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007
J.S. BACH: Andante from Violin Sontata No. 2 in A Minor, BWV 1003
MENDELSSOHN: String Quintet No. 1 in A Major, Op 18

Performers: Christina Bouey (violin), Susan Waterbury (violin), Victoria Miskolczy (viola), Rosemary Elliott (cello), Colin Brookes (viola)

Bach’s music can spark every emotion imaginable. These two iconic movements, conveying a sense of beauty and serenity, are among his most beloved compositions. Mendelssohn was only 17 when he wrote this quintet, but the creativity and effortless technique on display would make this uplifting music an accomplishment at any age.

What Should I Expect at a Concert?
— Each ticket can be used to attend in-person (pending capacity limits) OR you can join the concert via livestream.
— Physical distancing (6 ft minimum) and face masks will be required at all CCO concerts.
— Shorter programs (usually about 60 minutes) with no intermission.
— General admission seating so you can more easily observe physical distancing guidelines.

All tickets must be reserved in advance (though you may pay at the door).  Ticket sales at the door will be temporarily suspended since we need to track the number of in-person audience members to ensure we stay within the permitted capacity max at each venue.
