Curt Armbruster joined the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra in 2011. He is also the Principal Timpanist of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and has performed with a number of other orchestras, including the Cleveland, National, Baltimore, and Richmond Symphony Orchestras. In 2016, Mr. Armbruster served as Acting Principal Timpanist of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in Auckland, New Zealand. He has received a B.M. from the University of Cincinnati’s Conservatory of Music and a M.M. from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and is currently pursuing a D.M.A. from the University of Maryland under the study of Jauvon Gilliam, Principal Timpanist with the National Symphony Orchestra.
