The CCO is a per-service orchestra with five orchestra concerts, a chamber music series, special events, and school and family performances each season. (The 2020-21 season will be temporarily adjusted due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.)

Please note we are unable to assist with visa applications.  All musicians and staff must be eligible to work in the United States.


Employment Information

The Administrative Assistant will assist in managing daily office operations while completing tasks related to fundraising, marketing, and concert operations, as assigned.  This part-time position is paid an hourly wage, averaging between 7-15 hours per week, with some evening/weekend hours required during concert/event weeks. INTERNSHIPS:   If you are interested in being considered for internships (short or long-term), please contact our office, and submit a résumé with letter of interest.  Internships are unpaid, and are considered on a rolling basis. For 2020 and 2021, candidates not residing in Ithaca can be considered for remote work.

VOLUNTEERS:  We’re also always interested in speaking with potential candidates for our Board and in welcoming new volunteers.  Please contact us if you’re interested in being considered.

We are currently seeking a Coordinator for our Bed & Breakfast program.  You do not need to be a current volunteer with the CCO, but some volunteer experience would be beneficial, along with strong organizational skills and an appreciation for the CCO’s mission.  Please contact our office if you are interested in learning more.
